Moo Music Splash is a specialist baby and toddler swimschool based in Coventry, delivering swimming lessons that uniquely blend music with water-based learning. Founded in 2022 by Cath C, the school was inspired by the realisation that traditional swimming instruction could be dramatically enhanced through professionally written, engaging songs and musical activities.
The business serves families with babies and young toddlers, offering Swimming Teachers' Association 'Swimstar Swimschool' approved lessons that prioritise early swimming skills alongside physical, social and emotional development. Rather than generic instruction, Moo Music Splash employs props, games and music-led activities to create a genuinely fun learning environment where carers and children develop together.
What sets them apart is their exceptional teacher qualification base. Cath holds the highest level Baby & Preschool aquatic teaching qualification available in the UK (STA Level 3 Diploma), alongside specialist training in cerebral palsy and swimming. Co-teacher Ewan, who joined in 2024, brings additional STA qualifications and a background in military service, combining professional expertise with genuine family values.
The school operates across three carefully selected heated pools maintained at temperatures between 30-33 degrees—Aquasport Dive Centre (31°C with private pool use), Archbishop Ilsley School (30°C, summer months), and Brays School (33°C hydrotherapy pool). Each venue offers free parking and dedicated facilities for spectators, ensuring a comfortable experience for the entire family.
