Moo Music Splash is a specialist baby and toddler swimschool operating across Birmingham, with locations in Sheldon, Acocks Green and Olton. Founded in 2022 by Cath, a fully qualified Swimming Teachers' Association instructor, the school combines early swimming education with uniquely composed music to create an engaging, child-centred learning environment.
The business serves families with babies and young toddlers, supporting their physical, social and emotional development through structured water-based lessons. What sets Moo Music Splash apart is their distinctive approach: rather than using traditional nursery songs, they've created professionally written music specifically for water activities, using props and games to bring lessons to life. This moosical methodology keeps young learners engaged whilst teaching essential swimming skills.
The teaching team holds exemplary qualifications. Cath holds the highest level Baby & Preschool aquatic teaching qualification available in the UK (STA Level 3 Diploma), alongside rescue certifications and specialist training in cerebral palsy and swimming. Co-founder Ewan recently completed his Level 2 qualifications and now leads Sunday sessions.
Operating from three purpose-built facilities—Aquasport Dive Centre (31°C), Archbishop Ilsley School (30°C summer only) and Brays School (33°C hydrotherapy pool)—they provide warm, safe environments with viewing areas for carers. All pools offer free parking. Their Swimming Teachers' Association 'Swimstar Swimschool' accreditation underscores their commitment to professional standards and child safety.
